Client involvement often comes down to budget vs. time or a passion for self-build Architecture. Good client involvement and managing trades could potentially bring a build cost down by as much as a third, but you only have to watch a few episodes of Grand Designs to see how stressful and costly it can be without the adequate professional Architectural and Technical support.

At Ora Design Architecture we provide client support that ensures all decisions are made at key points and tailor our self-build service to suit your level of involvement. Ora Design Architecture can be on hand throughout the build to work with you and resolve any technical or contractual issues that may arise protecting you, the client’s, interests and all times ensuring your dream home becomes a reality.

We are keen to take on the aspirations of ambitious self-build clients. We were the Lead Architectural consultant on a recent self-build project converting a large barn into 3 homes.

Ora Design Architecture is an approved designer of the Graven Hill self-build scheme located in Bicester, Oxfordshire popularised by the Channel 4 television show Grand Designs: The Streets featuring Kevin McCloud.
